My First 5K Race

To my Millions and Millions of readers,

Well, I finally go a picture from my first 5k. Okay, I admit, that I didn't do as well as I probably should have. I had a DNF, okay I actually had a NAS (never actually started) but BOY was Thanksgiving Dinner AWESOME!!!

I had homemade Chicken and Dressing, Fried Corn (from Great Granddad's garden), Macaroni, "real" Mashed Potatoes, Honey Baked Ham, Baked Turkey, Deviled Eggs, and LOT AND LOTS of HOMEMADE Cornbread. There was tons more, but nothing that I would eat (I'm not into the fruit salads...) Now, that list doesn't even count dessert. There was homemade chocolate cake, cookies, more fruit salads and the Absolute BEST homemade chess pie that I have ever had!

I can hardly wait for Christmas Dinner. Mmaybe I can do another 5k then.

Veggie lovers?????????? (How many people remember that when peta.org would take you to the People Eating Tasty Animals (PETA) website? This is true, PETA (the ethical people) sued and got the domain assigned to them.)

Have a great week.

What a Great Thanksgiving!

Hello to my "potential" Millions and Millions of readers from all around the world.

To keep with my commitment, of Blogging at least every 10 working days, I guess I better get busy. So how was everyone's Thanksgiving? Mine was Great! I ate until I could not eat any more, and then I had dessert. My goal was to gain 5 pounds, but I don't know yet if I achieved it.

I was in my first 5K Race. I will have pictures tomorrow. I'll tell you, I didn't do as well as I should have.

I sold my truck. The guy flew in from Michigan and drove it home. I have seen vehicles online that I really would like to have but haven't gotten the courage to spend the money and energy to fly somewhere to pick it up. I guess I am scared that my expectations might not be met, and then I'm out $$$$$$$ for the plane tickets, etc...

I hope everyone has a great week and check back in the next couple of days for some picture.

...and 6 days later

Again, I met my commitment with plenty of time to spare. I was starting to get comments like "the RSS feed is burning into my monitor...".

Okay, get this! At work, they have a Thanksgiving meal on the Thursday before Thanksgiving. I've had this before, but what I like is the name. Pre-Thanksgiving meal! Do we need to have a pre-Christmas meal and a pre-Christmas gift opening party? I believe we do.

What about the office last night? I laughed SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO hard that I was about to cry. I was actually in a meeting EXACTLY like that! I am so glad that those days are over. All day long I've tried to convince everyone that today is Friday, but it hasn't worked yet.

What about that weather last night? I believe that I could have driven without my headlights (okay, I guess I could always drive without my headlight if I didn't care whether I could see or not), but the lightning was so intense, it was lighting up the highway about every 1/2 second. As I heard one person say on the radio while driving home, "well, we did need the rain". What? Okay, maybe they were just trying to be positive, but really.

I'm not ready for the cold weather, although I guess it's time for it. I will see you in less than 10 days and don't forget to watch Pinks on the Speed Channel tonight.

10 Day Commitment

That's right! You heard it here, I'm committing to blogging at least every 10 days. Sure I realize that's a big commitment for me, but hey, you (the reader) deserve it.

For all of those that were planning to come down and ride go-karts this weekend, DON'T! I sold it. Why did a 35 year old have a go-kart? I don't know. But I'm getting another one, but bigger and better next time. Maybe I will have it by Christmas.

I had "another" great offer to buy one of my cars (see the quote below). How could I turn this down?

"AM FROM UK , AM SO MUCH INTRESTED IN BUYING YOUR POSTED ADVERT ON CRAIGSLIST OK ,PLEASE DONT SELL IT OUT TILL SHIPMENT DAY AND LET ME KNOW THE CONDITION/PICS.
MY SHIPPING COMPANY WIL L BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE SHIPMENT /CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP AS SOON AS YOU HAVE CASHED PAYMENT AND PAYMENT WILL BE BY CASHIERS CHECK ,HOPE TO HEAR FROM YOU SOON ,THANKS ."

Yeah right!
IDIOTS!!!!!!!!!

I finally downloaded the Halloween pictures off the camera. Here are a couple of them.

And 1 picture from the Wiggles show!
Everyone have a great weekend and enjoy these links below. See you sometime within 10 days.

Guess the Google pictures - Thanks Barry, this has wasted a lot of time.

Credit Card pranks - I laughed so hard until tears actually ran down my face (be sure to also read part two).

Can I get these in a setting of 8?

Get a Free greeting from the Whitehouse (okay, you have to be over 80 to get a birthday greeting, BUT when I turn 80, I'll have this bookmarked!

Halloween Pictures

Guess what I still haven't downloaded off of my camera at home. If you said "Halloween Pictures", you would be correct. I will try to do that later this week (yeah I know there are only 2 days left).

What about "The Office" last Tuesday night? I laughed until tears ran down my face. I thought I was back at my old job!

Speaking of my old job, a former co-worker got a new FLAT PANEL TV. I went over to Barry's to see it but no one was home. I was able to get a picture of the back of the set.

You can always tell who is making the big bucks and like I've always said, "You can't hide money"!

It's suppose to be 77 degrees here in Nashville, so this will allow me to procrastinate on those thing that need to be done before winter gets here. I guess I'm just lucky.

I have my dually listed on the internet forsale:
I have gotten a ton of emails. There are a lot of "nice people" who would love to have this truck. Some want me to cash their money order and then send the truck to England (or some other country). Another one wanted me to send him the truck and then his broker would send me a check when his investment accounts were transfered. Yeah Right! Idiots! I started putting a disclaimer on the top of my reply emails pretty much stating that I'm not falling for a scam, so don't waste my time. Most reply back that they are not able to get the money right now but will get with me in 3 weeks. WHATEVER!

I do have a guy from Michigan that says he is very interest. We will see.

Anyway, I guess that's enough for today. In case I don't post tomorrow (you can tell that I have no intension of doing so) everyone have a great weekend.
