Priorities

Priorities. Everyone is asking why I am not blogging much. I am trying to keep my priorities straight. That and the lack of sleep and being behind at work (I am doing a mix of staying home and working) along with overeating (our friends have brought us a feast and more is on the way).

Keep checking and I will post more pictures later.

The sun really seems to brighten things up

I was up EARLY this morning. Okay, not as early as some people that I know, but early for me. I had to be at work by 7 this morning. I was shocked when I got up and it was dark outside. Kind of scary looking. Anyways, after a couple cups of coffee and one 16 oz Coke (and two ham biscuits) I was ready for work.

Not much else going on. Still looking for the stork. I am both excited and scared. We have picked out a name. We picked the middle name of Danielle (named after my second favorite (and only) Brother). Well, as far as he knows she's named after him.

I did see something funny that I have to pass on. I figure most everyone has seen or heard about this, but it is a phone number you can give out if you don't want to give yours out to someone who is hitting on you. They don't have a number for TN yet, but it's really funny.

Blah Blah Blah

Blah Blah Blah (or should I say Blog Blog Blog?). Okay, so I’ve been busy, does that make me a bad person? Our Daughter is scheduled to arrive within a week and ½. We have really been scrambling to get her room ready. We thought we had until sometime in October so, I haven’t been in a hurry.

While all of this is going on, we are trying to buy a new house. I saw a listing of the top 10 most stressful things and I think we are trying to go through 3 of them at the same time.

I got some negative feedback because I wasn’t updating this blog. I thought I had 5 people reading my blog until I found out that my brother was reading it twice. So of the 4 people that read it, I just need to find out who is up at 4am reading blogs. That shouldn’t be very hard.

I'm Tired TOO!

WOW! What a weekend. I love the idea of a 3 day weekend, but it’s still not long enough. We spent most of the weekend “moving”. We didn’t actually move but we moved a lot of furniture around. We removed all of the furniture from the “extra” bedroom and we put in all new furniture for our little girl (coming soon). We then dispersed the old furniture by place some at my Grandparent’s house (my boy’s old baby bed), some in our storage trailer, and some in the yard sale pile. It seems like there isn’t enough time to get everything done.

Well, it’s back to the ole grind. 3 day weekends usually make the Tuesday feel like a “double Monday”. I guess people have more time to figure out how to break things when they get back to work.

The good thing about having 5 cars….. I haven’t had to put gas in at $2.99 or $3.29. I just keep rotating what I drive and I hope the prices will fall before I have to fill up again. $2.69 is the most that I have paid for gas.

I found some neat stuff in the “yard sale” pile. I saw a copy of Windows/386 still new in the package. I found some of the parts of a computer that was bought in the 80’s (yeah, their in the trash now). I even saw my old electronic baseball game. Boy was it high tech in it's day! Pretty neat, but I don’t want go back.

Well, I just back from Lunch at LongHorn’s so I guess it’s Nap Time.

Blog alarm

Someone needs to set up a Blog Alarm. This would remind me that I haven't gotten around to posting today. I like blogging now. I always bring up a game at Party Poker.com and then do this between games.

Anyways. I was sent the following link. I haven't had time to verify that it's true (it is suppose to be and it came from a reliable source).

This guy is a Crisis manager for a major ISP. He is tasked with securing a building and keeping equipment online in a highrise in downtown N.O. He has been keeping a blog of what he sees and what is going on. He also has a webcam and pictures.

Nothing much else going on in my life. We might take out a mortgage on our house. We hate to do that, but we are wanting to fill the Expedition up with gas. (I hope it's enough money). It's only $2.999 here in Columbia. Yeah, I love the 9/10th on the end. Who came up with that. I also love saying "if it goes any higher, it will be $3 per gallon".

Maybe I will get the blog in sooner tomorrow. Until then.....
